Raw Stringybark with Ironbark Honey

Cold extracted & Cold bottled Raw Honey

Produced over two distinctly different forest sites this unique bees' blend of Red Stringybark and Red Ironbark honey has a medium warm and smooth strength with toffee and fruity flavours. Our bees have foraged the flowers of the two species on two different bee sites.  The Stringybark flowered first within the Mount Samaria State Park which located between Mansfield and Benalla in North-East Victoria. The bees were relocated at the end of this flowering event out of the mountains to the Heathcote-Graytown National Park where they have foraged mainly on the Red Ironbark in mid-autumn. Red Stringybark tends to have a major flowering once in every four years while the Red Ironbark is typically every two years.
